It all collapsed so fast. People were civil at first. Helping out their neighbors. No-one believed the rumors that that were spreading across the Internet. The government assured us that everything was under control. Everything would return to normal once the outbreak was contained. A vaccine was in the works. But then the military came. No one was allowed outside the Quarantine zone that they rapidly constructed. Then people started disappearing. Rumors spread that they were doing experiments on us. To find a vaccine for the disease that was spreading. Before they turned off the internet in camp, we saw videos of the "undead" that were spreading around the globe. I wasn't going to wait anymore for the soldiers to take me away. So I gathered some of the trusted neighbors. We devised a plan to take the military by surprise and liberate the QZ. But the undead beat us to the punch. They hit the fence in a massive wave at night. The fence fell and the panic started once they laid into the first soldiers. Luckily our preparations to take back the camp prepared us for the undead as well. We were able to clear the QZ while the majority of the soldiers fled. A lot of the civillians packed up and left the QZ. A stupid move in my opinion. I don't believe there is any place that is free from the undead now. The lights have begun to flicker. And we must gather supplies and fix the fence before another hoard wanders through. It's up to us to turn Phoenix into the free zone....or the dead zone.
