Welcome and congratulations on choosing the most realistic Project Zomboid server out there today.
First things first. You are going to want to learn the map. Google Project Zomboid map and use the server map posted on the Server info thread. Loot only respawns on the 25th of every month. So you want to learn all the cities on the map that still have loot left until the next re spawn. You also want to learn where the WP/Muldraugh Police stations and gun stores. They are always filled (by me) with shotguns and ammo. You can use that to farm zombies for food, guns, bags, money and tools. There is also a trading post that you can buy basic supplies. Check the Server lore/hints thread and study the map to find it's location. Or ask a server veteran. They might be nice enough to tell you. Or you can make your way to the PvE zone. You'll find players who will help you out or even trade you for valuable items. Check the server info for a map and location of the PvE zone in Valley Station. If one is available, you can get a safe house there. Only players you allow will have access to your house.
Now that you have the basics. Start grabbing all the supplies you can get your hands on. And head out to the woods to build a sweet base or make your way north to Valley Station to the community safe zone. Good luck survivor.

Next thing to consider
Choices have consequences on DeadPixels. Choose weak or underweight and you'll find it hard to kill zombies. Pick conspicuous and our zombies will chase you until the ends of the earth. Short sighted...better take a flashlight and batteries at night.

I'm lost as shit and I don't know how to use the Project Zomboid map. Where are the coordinates?
You want coords? You gotta earn them. Find a map and compass. Kill zeds, search buildings, or buy them at the trading post.
